Coasters & Mats

Clarkisan Coasters is where it all started. As a Potteries girl I was fascinated to discover decoupage ceramic coasters using one single sheet of a table napkin. It looked delicate and tricky and did indeed take me a few months to perfect a technique that produces almost wrinkle and brush stroke free coasters.

I tried lots of products and methods but now I think I have it sussed - our coasters can withstand spillages and hot cups but do need to be looked after:

• wipe with a damp cloth

• clean up spillages straight away

• do not submerge in water, put in the dishwasher or leave outside

Coasters can be created using napkins, wallpaper, fabric, own designs and photographs. We can also supply larger mats and tiles for teapot stands, placemats, plant pot stands etc.
